When people ask about my passion for footy, I tell them I bleed ‘red & white’

And they instantly know I’m a Swans fan!

For me, there is no other football code that comes close to the AFL, and no other club that comes close to excellence like my beloved Sydney Swans.

My mother, Dell, followed the Swans back from when they first arrived in Sydney. In those days, you’d be lucky to have 2000 people go to watch the game. I got my appreciation of Swans and the culture of the Club through her passion, and I’m so thankful for it.

When Paul Roos was senior coach and realised I was a Swans member sitting with Mum in the Brewongle Stand cheering our boys on, he asked me to become a Swans Ambassador.

I couldn’t have been more chuffed, I couldn’t be more proud wearing my team colours and supporting one of the most dynamic teams in the AFL.

Last year saw us excel further than anyone expected, with our new debutants showing great skill and potential.

In 2017, we will build on our young legs and the experience of our seasoned team leaders. With new Captain Josh Kennedy leading the charge – anything is possible.

We are a championship team. We are all class. We are a family. We are the Sydney Swans!
