Port Adelaide flew back home with the four points in the bank and the majority of votes in this year’s AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award.
Sydney forward Lance Franklin was the only Swan to catch the attention of the coaches, picking up four votes.
Franklin was influential in the 28-point loss, kicking four goals from his 18 disposals.
Power midfielder Ollie Wines was judged best on ground with a perfect 10, while Brad Ebert (four votes), Sam Powell-Pepper (four), Paddy Ryder (four), Chad Wingard (two) and Aaron Young (two) rounded out the votes.
