36 points (nine wins, seven losses), 113.4 per cent
A big win over cross town rivals Greater Western Sydney has the Swans sitting nicely in sixth position on the AFL ladder. The Swans are playing so well that it is hard to see them dropping a home game from here. They need to win at least one more on the road to be certain of making the finals and while they're too smart to look past the Saints this week, the following Friday night against the Hawks at the MCG will be massive. Win that and it says here that they're in. Remarkable.

The coach says
"They are all important and there is no win more important than another. We just have to keep going. I thought the intensity for the four quarters was at a really high level. We thought it was a fierce contest and we stood up pretty well to it.” John Longmire post match Rd 17, 2017
