Join us for an afternoon at the footy this Friday when the annual Sydney Swans intra-club match takes place at Henson Park.
The hit out will be a great chance for fans to see some of the brightest young talent on the clubs list take to the field for the first time this pre-season.
It will be the first chance to see the Swans nine new off-season recruits in action in their first competitive contest since joining the club.
Those looking to attend the match are encouraged to take public transport. Gates into the venue will be closed to vehicles, while limited on-street parking is available.
Split into two groups, and topped up by the most promising members of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy, the list will be putting their pre-season campaigns to the test over four 20-minute quarters.
Fans from far and wide are welcome to attend with a scheduled 5.30pm bounce adding to what should be a bumper evening of footy.
There will be plenty to see and do around the grounds as well.
The Sydney Swans Membership will be set up for those wanting to redeem, renew or take up new memberships.
For the kids, the Sydney Swans Fan Zone will be operating complete with activities, giveaways and, of course, the Spin2Win Wheel.
Following the game, supporters will have the chance to grab an autograph and a photo with their favourite players.
Don’t forget to bring your footy along for a kick-to-kick at the quarter-time, half-time and three-quarter time breaks.
Food refreshments will be available for purchase.
Gates open at 4pm and entry into the ground is free.
