There was a strong Sydney Swans presence in the air as club partner Redkite hosted the Redkite Corporate Quiz at the International Convention Centre last Friday night.

Redkite is an Australian charity supporting children, young people and their families throughout their journey with cancer, that will celebrate 20 years of partnership with the Swans in 2020.

Last Friday saw Swans CEO Tom Harley and wife Felicity, 2018 Best Clubman and Redkite ambassador Harry Cunningham and a host of club staff join more than 600 people at the annual Redkite Corporate Quiz.

The event reached its fundraising target of $525,000, which is enough to support 210 families for a year, with Sydney donating prizes and tickets to the auction.

Swans Head of Customer and Community Natalie Fagg underlined the importance of the club’s partnership with Redkite.

“We’re tremendously proud of the partnership we have with Redkite,” Fagg said.

“The most important thing about it is it’s driven by the people who work and play for us. It’s driven by the players who care deeply and it’s a really meaningful, organic connection with an organisation providing vital support to families facing cancer.”

One of the most significant events on the club’s calendar is its annual Red Day, which sees the Swans and Redkite join forces on an SCG match day to raise vital funds.
