SYDNEY Swans coach John Longmire and co-captain Adam Goodes will talk to the media at 11.50am ahead of the Swans' qualifying final against Adelaide.

It will be a tough ask for the Swans who are on the road for consecutive weekends and could be without defender Heath Grundy.

Grundy was offered a one-match ban from the Match Review Panel for striking Geelong's James Podsiadly. The Swans are yet to decide whether they will challenge the ban.

If the Swans take on the Crows without Grundy, they will need to find another tall defender to help curb the influence of Adelaide's dangerous forward combination of Kurt Tippett and Taylor Walker.

The Swans have had a tough month of football, last week taking on reigning premier Geelong, the week before playing minor premier Hawthorn, and before a road trip to Melbourne, playing the 2010 premier and fellow top-four team Collingwood.
