The Sydney Swans would like to thank those who supported #SwansRedDay and donated so generously to Redkite.
The annual #SwansRedDay, to show support for charity partner RedKite, took place in Round 17 at the SCG when the Swans took on Carlton.
The generosity of all those who donated will help support children and families dealing with cancer across Australia.
The Club raised just under $20,000 which is the largest ever amount fundraised on the day.
It was also the largest ever Red Day crowd with 32,570 fans flooding into pack the SCG full of red.
Redkite National Parnterships Manager Amelia Hard thanked everyone for their amazing support of the day.
"Red Day is such a special occasion where the Sydney Swans members, fans and the Redkite community come together to support children and young people facing cancer."
"Thanks to your generosity, Redkite is able to support 7 families in the year ahead with our essential emotional, financial and practical support programs that help lighten the load when families need it most."
