If Tom Papley's impressive AFL debut didn't win won over supporters, the courage shown to pull down Round 2's Mark of the Week would have done the trick.
Papley has been quite the find after kicking five goals in his first two AFL games.
But it was his bravery running back with the flight of a centred ball, during the third quarter of the clash against Carlton at Etihad Stadium, which has made people stop and take serious note of the boy from Bunyip.
GOAL OF THE WEEK: Heeney's crafty snap
Lance Franklin gathered the footy near the boundary on the Swans' half-forward flank before using his trusty left to centre the ball to his two young teammates in George Hewett and Papley.
With no regard for what was around him, the smallest player on the ground in Papley leapt to take what commentator Sandy Roberts labelled "a sensational grab".
The 19-year-old rewarded his efforts to kick the goal which put the Swans 38 points in front.
Papley's mark will be one of 22 nominations for the Sydney Swans' own Mark of the Year, to be voted by supporters at year's end.
Papley follows on from last week's nomination: Luke Parker's speccie against Collingwood.
