The Sydney Swans and the Hawthorn Football Club have finalised a deal that will see the Swans receive a first-round draft pick.

Midfielder Tom Mitchell will join the Hawks, while Sydney will receive draft picks 14 and 52.

Hawthorn will also receive pick 57 as part of the deal.

It means the Swans hold selections 14, 17, 39, 52, 93 and 111 ahead of the 2016 AFL Draft, which will be held in Sydney in November.

It marks the first time since 2009 that Sydney has had two first-round draft selections.
