The Sydney Swans regain three key players for Friday night’s blockbuster against Hawthorn at the MCG.
Josh Kennedy, Ben McGlynn and Gary Rohan have all been named to play, with Jack Hiscox, Tom Papley and Dean Towers making way.
Kennedy (hamstring) and McGlynn (corked thigh) both miss last week’s match against Richmond, while Rohan is poised to play his first senior game this season after recovering from injury.
Swans coach John Longmire says the trio will add pace and experience.
“There’s no doubt we missed having Josh and Ben in our side last week – they’re outstanding players who are terrific leaders at our football club,” Longmire said.
“It’s also great to have Gary back. He’s had a couple of games in the NEAFL now and he has certainly been eager to push his case for senior selection.
“We know Gary will give us some extra leg speed so we’re looking forward to seeing him out there tomorrow night.”
Towers, Harrison Marsh and Toby Nankervis have all been named as emergencies.
