Sydney Swans midfielder Josh Kennedy has been awarded a ‘perfect ten’ votes from the coaches for his dominant midfield performance against Carlton on Saturday at the SCG.
Kennedy picked up 35 possessions (23 contested), 12 clearances, six tackles and a goal in a best on ground display.
The midfield maestro wasn’t the only Swan to be recognised by John Longmire and Brendon Bolton with Lance Franklin receiving four votes for his four goal game – which included a contender for goal of the year.
Jake Lloyd received two votes while Luke Parker (two votes) kept his place in the top ten after kicking two goals from his 24 disposals.
For the Blues, young gun Patrick Cripps was awarded six votes, Bryce Gibbs five and Kade Simpson one vote.
At the top of the leaderboard, Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield leads Rory Sloane and Dustin Martin.
