Ted Richard’s standout performance in Saturday’s win over West Coast has earned him another accolade: a nomination for the AFL’s Mark of the Year.
The veteran defender took a high-flying leap in the final quarter of the game, soaring above teammate Kurt Tippett and Eagles Fraser McInnes and Nic Naitanui.
The hanger came despite Richards playing with a fractured eye socket that later needed surgery.
The 33-year-old went on to finish the game with best on ground honours.
