Young Sydney Swans midfielder Jordan Foote has taken out the first 3km time trial of the 2017 pre-season campaign.
It was straight down to business for the first to fourth year players upon their return on Monday morning as they took part in the endurance test.
Foote took out the time trial ahead of Irishman Colin O'Riordan and defender Nic Newman.
"It was the first one I have done with the Swans even though I have been here for three years now because of shin splints previously," Foote said.
"I was stoked to come out first and most of the boys were pretty happy with their run and off-season training they have done."
Rising Star winner Callum Mills headlined the young Swans back on the track that also included Tom Papley and Zak Jones.
Defender Michael Talia was also back on the training track with his teammates as he looks to return to the senior side in 2017.
The senior players will return to join their younger teammates for pre-season training on December 5.
