Sydney Swans midfielder Luke Parker tops the leaderboard in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award voting following a strong performance against Carlton on Sunday.
Parker, who gathered 29 disposals and five clearances, shared the honours for best-on-ground as voted on by the coaches John Longmire and Brendan Bolton in the clash at Etihad Stadium, winning nine votes alongside teammate Tom Mitchell who starred with 34 touches and nine tackles.
It follows on from an outstanding match in Round 1 against Collingwood where Parker collected a flawless 10 votes from the respective coaches.
The second consecutive haul sees the 24-year-old shoot to the top of the overall leaderboard on 19 votes, with Mitchell (15) close behind.
The duo topped a good night at the office for the Swans with Josh Kennedy, Callum Sinclair, Kurt Tippett (3 votes apiece), Dan Hannebery (2) and Lance Franklin (1) rounding out the vote getters.
