Star midfielder Dan Hannebery remains the Swans most highly rated player by the coaches after the midway point of the season.
Hannebery sits fifth in the competition in the AFL Coaches Association Player of the Year Award.
Geelong’s Patrick Dangerfield is the leader with 66 votes, ahead of teammate Joel Selwood, Adelaide’s Rory Sloane, Richmond’s Dustin Martin and then Hannebery, who has 55 votes.
After a strong start to the season Hannebery’s teammate Luke Parker, on 41 votes, remains in the top 10 and within striking distance of the leaders.
With Geelong having the bye this weekend it will give Hannebery a further opportunity to move up the leaderboard with the chance to secure back-to-back Coaches Association awards.
