Midfield coach Josh Francou says...
“Kieren is a dynamic, quick inside midfielder that can also support his game with outside run and can play forward. He is one of those midfielders that is very versatile for us and we all know how good a player he is but it stood out more when he wasn’t playing for us in the finals. You probably don’t appreciate how much of an impact he has had until he misses those games in the finals. He has had a very consistent season, he can run with players if needed and he adds another dynamic to our midfield. He adds leg speed, speed around the footy which is potentially what we struggled with a little bit during the finals.”
Season highlight...
Kieren Jack started the season in outstanding fashion with his first two rounds arguably his best of the season.
Jack was influential in the Swans come from behind win against Essendon in the opening round carrying the team over the line in the final quarter.
He finished the game with 29 disposals and six clearances but most importantly was his goal to level the scores with just six minutes to go.
The co-captain backed up that performance by gathering 31 disposals against Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval.
He once again hit the scoreboard in that game with a goal and was instrumental in the midfield dominance over the Power finishing the contest with 10 clearances.
A consistent season saw the co-captain finish third in the Bob Skilton Medal Count for 2015.
