Swans coach John Longmire on...

Isaac Heeney's potential return:

“He has played half a game last week and then a full game on the weekend where he played really well. Our decision comes down to whether he needs another week in our reserves at that sort of level playing that sort of football given he is a very young player. We know the competitive beast that he is and he would be good in the senior team. That discussion is taking place and he may need one more game, but we just have to confirm that tomorrow after our training session. He is getting close but he is still only young so match conditioning is still something that is a consideration for him.”

Richards' probable return:

"We expected him to play with the 10-day break from the knock going into the Brisbane (Lions) game, but when our doctor had a chat to him he said he just didn't quite feel right. As soon as a player says that after the knock that he got, it's not a debate, it's a pretty easy decision he just doesn't play."

Hawthorn's current success:

“We are looking at a team this week that has won the last two premierships and beat the team who is on the top of the ladder by 72 points without Jarryd Roughead. This is a team that is comparable to Brisbane of the early 2000’s, maybe even North Melbourne of the 90's. This is a quality, absolute powerhouse team and what they did last week shows what they are capable of doing. Going okay against this lot doesn’t cut it; you have to play extremely strong offence and defence to be a chance."

How to beat Hawthorn:

“I think it is a matter of matching Hawthorn in all areas, Alistair (Clarkson) has been on the record as saying they like to push things close to the edge. If you are not prepared to match them in all areas you tend to fall short. That is the challenge for any team that plays them – to get in the mental state and physical state to."

Lewis Jetta:

"He has really developed his game. In 2012 Lewis has a super year but he's been able to continually improve different aspects of his game and that becomes a bit more difficult the better you play, ironically, because you become more known throughout the competition. His versatility has been great this year - he's played a bit for us across half-back as well as through the forward line and midfield and been able to grasp all those roles. He's a very smart player and sees the game really well."

Franklin's 700th goal:

"It's an incredible achievement (on reaching a 700-goal milestone). You've got to be a really good player to kick 500 goals, let alone 700. It's an incredible achievement in modern-day football. He is still two goals away, he hasn't got there yet, he didn't kick a goal against Hawthorn last time but we were able to win. Whilst we would like him to hit the scoreboard and kick goals for us, we've shown we can win without that. As long as he's working really hard without the ball and everyone else is working well, we can still do that. We go into the game expecting him to hit the scoreboard because he always does, he always has shots at goal."
