Sydney Swans NEAFL side has been bolstered by the return of a number of AFL listed players for Saturday afternoon’s curtain raiser against the Brisbane Lions.
Zak Jones, Sam Naismith, George Hewett, Dan Robinson and Xavier Richards headline the inclusions to the side to tackle the Lions at the SCG from 12.55pm.
They will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to the NT Thunder last weekend in Darwin.
The Swans faded in the second half against Thunder last week and will aim to further cement fourth place on the ladder with a win against the Lions.
Brisbane were hammered by the UWS Giants last week, but finished the match strongly with six of the last seven goals.
Brent Staker is among their inclusions after being omitted from the AFL squad, while Jono Freeman has been elevated for his first AFL game of the year.
Ben McGlynn comes out of the Swans side for his first AFL game since Round 9 in a host of changes for the Swans.
