The Sydney Swans are excited to announce young forward Brandon Jack has signed a new deal to remain with the club until at least the end of the 2017 season.
Following the most impressive season of his career in 2015, the 21-year-old has signed a new two year deal.
General Manager of Football Tom Harley said it was pleasing for the club to re-sign another talented young player.
“Brandon is a very exciting emerging talent for our Club so it is great that he has agreed to a new two year deal,” Harley said.
“He showed his ability to be an important part of our forward line during the second half of the season and we are looking for him to further develop his game next season.”
Senior Coach John Longmire said he was looking forward to seeing Jack continue his improvement in 2016.
“Brandon played a fair bit of football for us in the back half of the season and he brings some real speed into our side,”
“He is a guy that works really hard at his game, is always at the club and leaves no stone unturned in terms of the way he prepares.
“I am sure whatever happens next year Brandon Jack will give himself every opportunity because that is the sort of kid that he is.”
The exciting forward played his best game of the season against Collingwood in Round 20 when he booted two goals from his 10 disposals.
It was his pressure in the forward line that was the standout as he laid five tackles along with a number of important pressure acts.
Jack has played 27 games since being recruited through the 2013 Rookie Draft as a member of the QBE Sydney Swans Academy.
