Having already tried his boot at Goal of the Year twice this season, Swans midfielder Luke Parker tried his hand at the aerial prize after earning a Round 15 Mark of the Year nomination.
Parker pulled in an impressive speccy during Sunday’s clash with the Lions at the Gabba.
A quick kick came in from teammate Jake Lloyd and, with a bit of help from opponent Daniel Rich’s shoulder blade, Parker leapt and pulled off an impressive grab on the half-forward line with two other players closing in quickly.
Parker, who gathered 23 disposals and laid seven tackles in the 21-point win, has faces stiff competition in this week’s voting.
Fellow nominees Dylan Buckley (Carlton) and Sean Edwards (Essendon) are also vying for a majority of the vote for their efforts.
