LAST WEEK’S NEWS
His radar was on song last week as Lance Franklin (FWD, $491,000) nailed seven goals straight. Buddy knocked up a season high 141 and rewarded those coaches (like me) who stuck by him after his 46pts last week. Dan Hannebery (MID, $569,000) shook off a tag for his 133pts and Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, 525,000) kept his hot form rolling with another 110pts. Mitchell now ranks as the 5th best forward in the competition over the last three weeks with an average of 109.
Lewis Jetta (FWD/MID, 415,000) posted his best score for the year (114pts) along with Adam Goodes (FWD, $331,000) with 103pts, Ted Richards (DEF, $305,000) with 77pts and Rhyce Shaw (DEF, $376,000) with 106pts, all experiencing their best Fantasy games for 2015.
ON THE RADAR
Throughout the bye rounds, we’ll all be looking at using ‘sideways’ trades to benefit our team. So how about downgrading one of your premium ruck to Mike Pyke (RUC, $363,000)? He scored 96 last week and has some great scores this year. You’ll make yourself around $200,000 doing this move from Stefan Martin or Sam Jacobs and might be a sneaky play over this tricky period.
TOP 5 SCORERS
#1 – 141 Lance Franklin (FWD, $491,000)
#2 – 133 Dan Hannebery (MID, $569,000)
#3 – 114 Lewis Jetta (FWD/MID, 415,000)
#4 – 110 Tom Mitchell (FWD/MID, 525,000)
#5 – 106 Rhyce Shaw (DEF, $376,000)
WHAT’S COMING UP
This week the Swans head to Metricon Stadium and it will get nasty. Very nasty!
The Suns have been bleeding points over the last three weeks with Priddis (155), Shiels (154), Yeo (150), Masten (144) Pendlebury (141) and Hodge (131) being among the 19 players to score over 100 against them. Luke Parker (MID, $566,000) will be my captain this week for this very reason. Watch-out for him to go ‘beast mode’ on the Suns this Saturday.
All the best for this week!
