The Swans’ final training session on Thursday has delivered some good and bad news to the match committee ahead of Saturday’s clash against Gold Coast.

Heath Grundy has fully recovered from a quad complaint which forced him out of last weekend’s match against Carlton and will retake his place in the senior side.

Grundy joins Jake Lloyd as the Swans’ two inclusions for the Round 10 encounter at Metricon Stadium.

The pair replaces Brandon Jack who has been omitted and Ben McGlynn who unfortunately hurt his hamstring during Thursday morning’s training session.

Longmire was looking for the Swans to push on against Gold Coast who are placed 17th on the ladder with one win in season 2015.

“Regardless of who we play or where we play we’ve just got to make sure we play a really strong brand of football, two way football and that’s exactly what we’ll be trying to do this weekend,” Longmire added.

The Swans travel north with a 7-2 record and tails up after enjoying a fourth consecutive win last weekend.
