Isaac Heeney and Xavier Richards headline four changes to the final team set for Sunday's clash with West Coast.

Heeney and Richards made the final cut, alongside Jeremy Laidler and Mike Pyke, as the squad finalised it's preparations at training on Friday ahead of the Round 17 encounter at Domain Stadium.

As reported on Thursday Ted Richards (suspended), Kurt Tippett (injured) and Craig Bird (injured) were forced outs while Brandon Jack has been omitted.

Jack and Dan Robinson have been named as emergencies.

Sunday’s blockbuster will mark the first game in 11 weeks for Heeney who suffered a knee injury in the Swans’ Round 6 win against Melbourne.

After two full games at NEAFL level, Heeney has been deemed fully fit and ready to slot back into the forward line where senior coach John Longmire is looking forward to seeing the same level of competitiveness and defensive pressure seen since the 19-year-old's outstanding start to the season.

Richards on the other hand hasn’t played a senior game since his first back in Round 14, 2013, having spent a large part playing a key defensive role in the NEAFL the past 18 months.

After a lengthy lay off, the 22-year-old is jumping at the chance to add more game time to his promising career and show older brother Ted a thing or two.
