"That is incredible!"

Those were the three words used by Channel 7 commentator Brian Taylor to describe Lewis Jetta's Goal of the Year nomination on Saturday night, echoing the thoughts of many who witnessed the speedy utility's snap from outside 50m during the second quarter of Saturday night's clash with Melbourne.

It comes as little surprise then that Jetta's goal was chosen, alongside two others, as one of the best goals from Round 6 and season so far.

After gathering the ball on the half-forward flank and bending the ball into the corridor, Jetta followed up his good work to receive a handball from Dan Hannebery, take two steps before curling the ball through and around the big sticks from the edge of the 50m arc.

Jetta then celebrated in true Jetta style.

Jordan Murdoch (Geelong) and Devon Smith (GWS) were the other two nominations.

Voting closes at 11.59pm on Thursday, May 14.
