Josh Kennedy is enjoying a rich vein of form and the coaches have taken notice, awarding him with a full quota of votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award.

For the second consecutive week Kennedy has been rewarded with the full 10 votes following his 41 disposal performance against the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba.

Sunday’s game also included nine tackles, nine clearances and four forward 50 entries.

The boost elevates Kennedy into 10th position on the overall leaderboard, equal with Richmond’s Trent Cotchin and Brisbane's Dayne Beams.

Fremantle’s Nat Fyfe (100 votes) has dominated the rankings for almost the entire season and, with eight rounds left of the home and away season, looks to be home and hosed despite the best efforts of Swans star Dan Hannebery (75 votes).

Hannebery, who collected 34 disposals, was the next best Swan to poll in Sunday’s 21-point win over the Lions with six votes while Kurt Tippett was awarded three votes for his three goals and breakout game in the ruck.
