The Sydney Swans Foundation has donated $5,000 to the bushfire recovery efforts taking place across New South Wales.

Assistant coach Brett Kirk along with a number of Swans staff were on hand to announce the donation during the club's recent trip to Coffs Harbour.

A group of Swans staff volunteered to assist the charity organisation Blaze Aid in helping to with the recovery efforts in the fire affected areas surrounding Coffs Harbour by taking part in a fence building project on a burnt farm.
