On Thursday April 30th, the Sydney Swans will be celebrating 25-years since Michael O'Loughlin made his AFL Debut.
It was Round 5, 1995 vs Adelaide Crows at the SCG where 18-year old O'Loughlin ran out in the red and white for the first time, the start of an illustrious career.
O'Loughlin went on to play 303 games for the Club (the fourth most in the Club's history) and kicked 521 goals (the second most in the Club's history) and his honour roll includes: 2005 premiership player, 2x All-Australian and the AFL Indigenous Team of the Century.
To mark this occasion and raise spirits, the Sydney Swans social media channels, website and official app will be rewinding the clock and celebrating all things 'Micky O'.
The man himself will be joining in too, chatting to current Swan, Callum Mills on Instagram Live at 4.30pm on Thursday about what he remembers from his first game as well as the many memories he has over his 14-year career.
Get involved and share your favourite Micky O memory by using #MickyODay across social media throughout the day.
