Crow linked with the Demons, the Giants chase another cross-town rival while GWS also has its eye on pick No.2.

Bernie on the verge of joining the Roos revolution

Adelaide standout Bernie Vince has been offered a three-year deal to join new coach Paul Roos at Melbourne, according to a story in The Age.

The 28-year-old, who is still under contract for the 2014 season, is on holidays in the United States and is weighing up his future.

Vince also held talks with Greater Western Sydney, but the story suggests the Crows have agreed to a trade with the Demons where they will receive pick 20 in the upcoming draft for the 2009 best and fairest winner.

Vince has played 129 games and kicked 80 goals over eight years in Adelaide.

Dockers to decide on Gumbleton

Fremantle has been heavily linked with out-of-contract Essendon forward Scott Gumbleton and AFL.com.au understands the Dockers will make a decision about recruiting him by the end of this week.

Following an injury-interrupted start to his career, Gumbleton has played 35 matches for the Bombers, including seven in 2013.

The former No.3 pick had a medical with the Dockers and they have been contemplating whether or not to make a play for him.

New West Coast signing Xavier Ellis, who had also been linked with Freo, told Gillette AFL Trade Radio on Wednesday he felt he should look elsewhere once he determined the Dockers were more interested in Colin Sylvia and Gumbleton.

Another Swan in GWS' sights

Fresh from signing the Sydney Swans premiership-winning ruckman Shane Mumford, GWS is now considering adding Andrejs Everitt to its list.

Everitt played 20 matches in 2013, including all three of the Swans' finals, but is off contract and is exploring his options following the signing of Lance Franklin.

The Daily Telegraph reports Everitt has spoken to West Coast and St Kilda, but favours remaining in Sydney, where he has spend the past three seasons.

Giants seeking second spot

GWS is also keen to get its hands on Melbourne's second pick in the upcoming draft.

Reports in Fairfax newspapers say the Giants are prepared to trade young defenders Matthew Buntine and Tom Bugg for the Demons' pick.

The Giants already hold the first overall pick, and are likely to hang onto it barring a left-field trade offer.

Bugg came to the Giants via their access to 17-year-old players ahead of their first year in the AFL, and has played 32 games over two seasons.

Buntine, the fifth pick in the 2012 draft, has appeared in nine games.
