Mitch Morton, Harry Cunningham, Xavier Richards and Dean Towers have been named in the Sydney Swans’ extended squad ahead of Sunday’s match against the West Coast Eagles at Patersons Stadium.
Morton, who has not played since the Swans’ round 13 loss to Port Adelaide, returns to the squad this week, while Towers could be in line to make his AFL debut.
Cunningham, who played his first and only senior match in round one last season, will be looking to make his first senior appearance for the 2013 season if selected this week.
The Swans will be forced to make at least one change for this weekend’s clash with the Eagles, with small forward Ben McGlynn forced out of the side with a three-week suspension for striking.
The final 22 for Sunday afternoon’s game will be announced on sydneyswans.com.au at 5:00pm on Friday, July 19.
