This week is the first time Cunningham, who played his first and only senior game in last year’s inaugural Sydney Derby in round one, has been named in a Swans’ squad this season, while Membrey could be in line to make his AFL debut.
The Swans will be forced to make at least one change for Sunday’s Sydney Derby after Sam Reid re-injured his quad in the Swans’ 31-point win over Melbourne last weekend.
Sunday’s match will also mark a milestone for midfielder Craig Bird, who will play his 100th AFL game for the Sydney Swans.
The final 22 for Sunday afternoon’s game will be announced on sydneyswans.com.au at 5:00pm on Friday, July 12.
