The Sydney Swans are celebrating the return of footy by offering some great memorabilia in the Swans on-line auction room.
By registering with our on-line auctions you can bid on signed items, matchworn guernsey’s, money can’t buy experiences and other unique items and opportunities – the majority of which are not available to the public. Registration is free and only takes a few moments.
Right now we have a very special item up for grabs – the first jumper to be signed by the 2007 Sydney Swans and coach Paul Roos. The jumper is numbered 1/350 and features 26 on the back – the number worn by Sean Dempster.
The 2007 season has begun with some exciting milestones. In round 1 Darren Jolly celebrated his 50th game in the red and white, while round 2 saw Craig Bolton play in his 100th game as a Swan.
Round 2 also brought a huge milestone for inspirational co-captain Brett Kirk as he played in his 150th AFL & Club game – an achievement that earns him life membership of the Sydney Swans. You can have your own memento from each of these milestones by bidding on the signed matchworn jumper from each player’s milestone game.
You’ll have to be quick to secure a Sherrin Lyrebird signed by the 2006 team or Tadhg Kennelley’s unworn long sleeve 2006 Heritage Round jumper as both of these auctions finish tonight.
When purchasing memorabilia through the Sydney Swans website you can be assured the item is authentic and all proceeds will go back to the Club. Sydney Swans cannot guarantee items purchased on other on-line auctions are authentic and does not benefit from the proceeds.
Look for the auction mallet on the home page, or locate the auctions via the club shop. Don’t forget to check back in regularly as new items are listed all the time.
