Sydney Swans players will kick off the new month this evening with visits to all junior clubs from the Sydney Harbour Juniors - Inner City and the Sydney South Juniors competitions.

Players will feature at clubs ranging from the eastern suburbs, down to Heathcote, and west to Bankstown, as part of the Team Swans community program.

One particular Swan who is extra excited about the junior club visits is Paul Bevan who will return to his grassroots club, the Western Suburbs Magpies.

Bevan, who will be accompanied by Swans co-captain Adam Goodes, said he was looking forward to getting back to his roots in Croydon Park.

“It’s always good to get the chance to head back to the Magpies and see the kids gearing up for a big season,” Bevan said.

“All up, Swans players will visit 15 junior clubs tonight and as a born and bred Sydney-sider, it’s just great to see so many young kids kicking the Sherrin and having fun,” he said.

During the visits, Swans players will run AFL clinics for juniors in the clubs’ local communities.
