Defender Caleb Mitchell and small forward Tom Hanily have been rewarded with one-year contract extensions, keeping them at the Sydney Swans until at least the end of 2025.
Mitchell, who debuted in Round 3 against Richmond at the MCG, has played two senior games for the Swans since arriving at the club with Pick 40 in the 2022 National Draft.
Hanily landed at the Swans via the 2024 mid-season draft with pick 14 and played eight games in the club’s VFL team.
Meanwhile, the club has informed Lachlan McAndrew he will not be offered a contract for the 2025 season.
McAndrew, a QBE Sydney Swans Academy product, was selected by the club in the 2021 mid-season rookie draft.
He went on to play two AFL games in the red and white, making his debut against North Melbourne in Round 10 of the 2023 season.
