Reserves ready for Tigers test
The Sydney Swans reserves are set for tomorrow afternoon’s meeting against Queanbeyan at the SCG…
The top-of-the-table Sydney Swans reserves will take on Queanbeyan at the SCG tomorrow afternoon from 12.30pm.
After a slow start against Queanbeyan two weeks ago, Henry Playfair’s side will be looking to jump out of the gates against tomorrow’s opponents and continue their unbeaten start to the season.
The Swans reserves currently sit three games clear on top of the NEAFL Eastern Conference ladder with a healthy percentage of over 260 per cent, and only the Brisbane Lions have got within eight goals of the side at the final siren.
Lewis Jetta will make his first appearance for the reserves this season after playing the first 12 games in the seniors, including an appearance as the substitute against Carlton last week.
Mike Pyke will also return to the team after a six week lay-off from a quad injury sustained in the seniors round seven win over the Western Bulldogs in Canberra.
Gate A will be open from 12:15pm, and entry is free, so come along and support the young stars of the Swans.
