The squad included seven players who will run out for the Swans for the first time.
Recruit Martin Mattner, 2007 draftees Dean Terlich, Aaron Bruce, Brett Meredith, Craig Bird and Matthew Beckmans; and Matthew O'Dwyer and Daniel O'Keefe, who were injured during the 2007 pre-season, will all take the field for the Swans for the first time.
The side will be bolstered by the presence of senior players Ben Mathews, Ryan O'Keefe, Jude Bolton, Nick Davis, Amon Buchanan, Jarrad McVeigh and Nick Malceski.
