Daniel Bradshaw says everything is going well after his knee surgery and he expects to resume light training tomorrow.

Bradshaw had an athroscope last week to remove floating cartilage in his knee.

“It’s a pretty minor operation and it’s all been going smoothly so I’ll start bike riding and swimming tomorrow,’’ Bradshaw said. “I should be back running in a week or two.’’

Bradshaw joined the Club in the pre-season draft in December after playing 222 games and kicking 496 goals for the Brisbane Lions.

He said he felt something was wrong when he resumed training. “It was a bit frustrating when I found out. But we decided it was worth getting it done now because there’s still plenty of time before the season starts,’’ Bradshaw said.

He won’t play in any of the pre-season games, but is confident he will be fit to play in round one of the season proper, when the Swans take on last year’s grand finalists, St Kilda, at ANZ Stadium.
