Reason #7: More courage from Ben McGlynn

He may be able to walk under most coffee tables, but little Benny McGlynn is undeniably one of the toughest characters on the Swans list. 

McGlynn constantly put his body on the line in 2010, but his courage cost him dearly when, in pursuit of a loose ball, he dove and collided with an opponent’s knee against the Dockers in Perth.

Suffering a facial fracture, McGlynn’s courage was highlighted when he made a remarkable recovery to play in the semi-final against the Bulldogs. Expect to see more courage from Benny in 2011.
