The Sydney Swans Members pre-sale will begin at 9am on Monday September 17, while supporter members will receive access to a pre-sale on Tuesday September 18 from 9am-11am.

Tickets will then go on sale to the general public at 12:00 midday on Tuesday through Ticketek.

Getting there and away

Public Transport

Footy fans are strongly encouraged to leave the car at home and take advantage of the additional and direct public transport services available for the event.

All tickets to the Sydney Swans Preliminary Final match at ANZ Stadium include entry and return travel on CityRail trains, Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus Services, regular Sydney Buses (STA), Liverpool to Parramatta T-way buses and Sydney Ferries services.

Remember to keep your ticket safe for your return journey home, as you must have a valid ticket when travelling on public transport.

Note a station access fee applies for travel from Domestic and International Airport stations to the City. You will need to purchase a separate ticket.

Trains
Regular direct services are operating to Olympic Park Station from Central and Blacktown stations from 5.30pm.

Central to Olympic Park services stop at Redfern and Strathfield stations. Blacktown to Olympic Park services stop at Seven Hills, Westmead, Parramatta, Granville and Lidcombe stations.

Fans travelling from other locations prior to 5.30pm should travel to Lidcombe Station and change for Olympic Park Services, departing every 10 minutes.

After the match, return services from Olympic Park to Central are operating every five minutes until 1am.

Olympic Park to Blacktown services are stopping every six to nine minutes until 1am.

Fans heading west of Olympic Park should catch a service to Lidcombe Station and change for a connecting service, operating every 10 minutes until midnight.

Buses

Sydney Olympic Park Major Bus services are operating on all 12 major bus routes across Sydney, commencing between 4pm and 5pm depending on the route.

Final services depart at 11.15pm.

Sydney Buses will also operate to a regular weekday timetable. Route 525 operates between
Parramatta and Burwood via Sydney Olympic Park.

Traffic

Traffic congestion is expected on Homebush Bay Drive. If you intend on driving to the game from the north via Lane Cove Road or from the east via Victoria Road, the alternative route of Victoria Road, Silverwater Road, Holker Street and Hill Road into the Sydney Olympic Park precinct is recommended.

Parking

Casual parking is available in the precinct, however; given the large crowd expected fans are encouraged to take advantage of the additional bus and train services included in all event tickets.

Those driving should allow plenty of time to get to Sydney Olympic Park, find a parking space and get to their seat for the game.

Accessibility Information

You can find accessible transport options by using the Trip Planner and checking the Easy Access/wheelchair accessible option. This will ensure that only accessible train platforms, ferry wharves and buses are presented. Read more about this option.

CityRail
Central, Strathfield, Parramatta, Blacktown, Granville, Auburn, Lidcombe and Olympic Park stations are all wheelchair accessible.

Sydney Buses
Nearly all of State Transit’s services on the weekend are wheelchair accessible, so check the wheelchair trips on the timetable and trip planner website pages. Features of wheelchair access buses include wide doors, wide aisles and space for two mobility aides such as wheelchairs, some ride-on scooters and prams or strollers.

Sydney Ferries
The entire Sydney Ferries fleet is wheelchair accessible via the 23 wheelchair accessible ferry wharves (pending tidal and safety conditions) For more information please visit the Sydney Ferries website.

All T-way bus services are low floor wheelchair accessible



Around the ground

Fan Initiation Marquees

The Fan Initiation Marquees will be operating on Friday night. If you are new to the game or the Club and have any questions please see the Fan Development Team who will be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.

The marquees will be located near to Aisles 103 and 126 and inside Gate L.

Face painting

You can show your true colours - red and white - and access the free face painting at the following locations:
•    Inside the stadium near Aisle 116
•    Inside the stadium near Aisle 126
•    Inside the stadium near Aisle 103

AFL Playground

Arrive early to visit the AFL Playground activated located around the Level 1 concourse inside ANZ Stadium.  All activities will run from 6.00pm to the end of half time.

The Big Kick and Jump Bump Thump will be set up near Aisle 126.
The speed kick tunnel will be set up near Aisle 112
The Hand Ball Cube will be set up inside Gate A/B

Red and White Bar - Aisle 118

It’s one of the biggest footy finals weekends in Sydney sporting history.

To celebrate the occasion, ANZ Stadium and the Swans have developed special pre-game bars for fans to meet and pump up the volume before bounce.

The Swans will have the Red and White bar, adjacent to Aisle 118, open from 6pm on Friday- the perfect location to meet friends and fellow supporters before the mighty Swans fight for a place in the 2012 Grand Final.

Please note, the usual Sydney Swans Members Bar located near Aisle 126 will not be open for Sydney Swans members at the preliminary final.  Members and supporters are encouraged to visit the Red and White bar adjacent to Aisle 118 instead to meet up with friends before the game.

Footy Records

Footy Records will not be available for sale external to the venue. 

You will be able to purchase your copy of the Footy Record once inside ANZ Stadium from Footy Record Vendors who will be located near to all gates.
