8.08PM - PICK SELECTED - No 85 - Nathan Gordon (rookie elevation)

Weight: 86kg
DOB: 12-02-1990

8.00PM - PICK SELECTED - No 61 - Alex Brown (Oakleigh Chargers/Doncaster Heights Junior)
DOB: 26/09/1993
Height: 191cm
Weight: 78kg
Position: Defender
Represented Vic Metro in two games at the NAB AFL U18 Championships. He has very good pace and mobility for a player of his size and he can play tall and small, especially when back. He is an excellent mark and spoils well with his closing speed.

7.45PM - PICK SELECTED - No 43 - Jordan Lockyer (West Perth/Joondalup Kinross)
DOB: 15/06/1993
Height: 192cm
Weight: 86kg
Position: Defender
Represented Western Australia at the NAB AFL U18 Championships, working at 75 per cent disposal effectiveness over five games. He is the son of former West Coast Eagles star Andrew Lockyer. Versatile type who reads the game well and uses the ball effectively.
Lockyer has height and a great vertical leap, but he also possesses speed, endurance and disposal skills and can push into the middle of the ground. Lockyer finished the year playing senior WAFL footy with West Perth and is a quality tall prospect who could prove to have other strings to his bow.

7.30PM - PICK SELECTED - No 21 - Tom Mitchell (Claremont)
Height: 180cm
Weight: 73kg
DOB: 31/5/93
Club: Claremont
And it's finally official - Tom Mitchell is a listed Sydney Swans player.
Tom's name was announced by Kinnear Beatson as the Swans first-round pick at number 21. Tom's touted as a clearance player who makes good decisions in traffic, has a good endurance base and is a lovely long kick off his left boot.

7.22PM - Not long until we get our first pick at number 21 as the top 10 are presented to the audience.
7.20PM - GWS name their top five picks: as expected #1 Jonathon Patton (Eastern Ranges), #2 Stephen Coniglio (Swan Districts), #3 Dom Tyson (Oakleigh), #4 William Hoskin-Elliott (Western Jets), #5 Matthew Buntein (Dandenong).
7.15PM - Port Adelaide pick Chad Wingard at pick 6, while GWS get Nick Haynes at #7, they now have the next, or first, five picks.
7.11PM - Cross-town rivals GWS Giants have landed their first two players with picks 9 and 10 with Adam Tomlinson and Liam Sumner, respectively. Brisbane Lions take ruckman Billy Longer with pick #8.
7.06PM - AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou addresses the room ahead of the beginning of the draft. The top 10 will be counted back from 10 to 1. We'll update you as they come through.
7.00PM - Draft coverage has just begun here at the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre. The top 10 will be announced shortly.
6:44PM - Everyone back in the Sports Centre with the draft coverage about to begin at 7pm. During the break, our first round pick Tom Mitchell was out in the radio section doing interviews with 3AW and FiveAA.
6.12PM - Lockout for the announcement of the first round of draft picks has just begun, we'll continue the news feed once we're allowed back in.
6.00PM - John Longmire and Kinnear Beatson going through some pre-draft notes
5:38PM - Swans coach John Longmire, CEO Andrew Ireland, General Manager - Football Dean Moore, Manager Player Personnel Kinnear Beatson, Player Welfare & Development Manager Dennis Carroll and Manager Player Developoment Stuart Maxfield have all just arrived at the Sydney Olympic Sports Centre ahead of the Draft.
12:36PM - Last year's number 21 draft pick, Jed Lamb, talks to SwansTV about putting his injury troubles behind him and hitting the pre-season at full speed to try and push for seniors in 2012.
