COCOA Deep-Amek's Swans Experience prize has provided the 12-year-old with a boost ahead of his own side's grand final this Saturday.
Cocoa plays for Easts, who are set to take on Maroubra in the Eastern Suburbs League's junior grand final.
With a little help from teammate Tyler, the son of Swans coach Paul Roos, Cocoa's hoping to come out on top.
"I normally play forward but then I moved back into defence for the second half of the season. I think we play at Heffron Park in the grand final," he said on Wednesday.
Cocoa's experience was a prize awarded to local juniors and, with Swans Daniel O'Keefe and Jared Crouch as his tour guides, he and his cousin Jared were given a tour of the club's facilities at the SCG.
"It was really cool," he said. "We got autographs and Auskick bags and we went on the ground."
And there was a sight to behold, with the Swans training on the hallowed turf.
"We did some of the same drills that the Swans were doing," Cocoa said. "Hand-passing and a few kicks.
"Then we went around to give them water or Powerade. And then we got pictures with Adam Goodes."
Cocoa started supporting the Swans four years ago and names Goodes and Michael O'Loughlin as his favourite players, describing his heroes as "fast and cool".
"I like watching them and when you're near the goals, you can catch the ball sometimes," he said.
The young fan is confident the Swans can finish their season on a high despite their underdog status, and believes a win against the Lions this weekend will provide some important form heading into the finals.
"I think they can do it if they put their minds to it," he said.
No doubt Cocoa will have the same approach to his own game on Saturday.
