This week I thought I would take a different approach to the blog and talk to you about my favourite TV shows. I must admit I don't watch watch much television but there are a few shows I enjoy. The boys would agree with me on this one - after a big session on the training track, there's nothing better than 'vegging' out in front of the 'box' watching your favourite TV show.

I'll start by letting you know of a few shows you won't see me watching. Unlike Heath Grundy, I don't watch shows like Neighbours and Home and Away. Mike Pyke once recommended the 'Oprah' show to me, but it didn't win me over. Mike watches the show religiously, and is known to have posters up in his bedroom of the lady herself!

Tuesday night is 'Survivor night' at my place. In the show, contestants are isolated in the wilderness and compete for cash and other prizes. The contestants must vote off other tribe members until one final contestant remains and wins the title of 'sole survivor'. In the current series - 'Heroes vs Villains' - 20 former castaways have returned to the show to seek revenge and redemption. Personally, I hope Russell wins! He is bit of a dodgy character but I believe he can outplay the other members.

Another show worth watching is Top Gear, which is also on TV on Tuesday night. I usually turn the phone off during Top Gear so I don't get disrupted. The show is quite clever in the way they put vehicles through vigorous testing. They really push the cars to the absolute limit to meet various challenges. In my favourite episode, the team take part in a big race from Switzerland to Blackpool on a single tank of fuel. Somehow they manage to reach the destination, but not without facing many obstacles which make it very entertaining.

Anyways, I better shoot off - Top Gear is about to start!
