The Swans will make just the one change for Sunday’s clash with Carlton at Etihad Stadium.
Experienced defender Ted Richards comes into the side, replacing Michael Talia.
Talia has been ruled out for at least the next two months, after suffering a serious foot injury in the win over Collingwood.
Swans coach John Longmire says it’s unfortunate for Talia, after an impressive pre-season from the new recruit.
“Since he (Talia) got to the Club he’s been great and played all of the pre-season games,” Longmire said.
“He played his first game for us last week and did a fantastic job, but with a few minutes to go unfortunately did some bad damage to his foot.
“Hopefully he still has an impact in the second half of the year.”
Meanwhile Longmire has welcomed the inclusion of Richards, a veteran of 253 games.
“We’ve got a number of younger players in the team so to get Teddy in with his experience and know-how in our back half is fantastic,” Longmire said.
“He’s done a lot of training now, and he played last week and pulled up fine.”
Tom Derickx, James Rose and Brandon Jack have been named as the emergencies.
