Sydney Swans young gun James Rowbottom has taken his game to another level this season, and has been rewarded with selection in the AFL Players’ Association’s 22under22 40-man squad.
22under22 presented by Big Swing Golf, is a fan voted concept that recognises the best 22 players aged 22 and under from across the league for the season.
Rowbottom has had an outstanding second season at AFL level playing 14 matches for an average of 15 disposals a game.
The 19-year-old has shown his ability around the contest averaging 3.5 clearances and 8 contested possessions this season.
Now in its eight year, 22under22 is the AFL’s only recognised fan-voted award and provides the footy public with the power to select the final 22.
Fans can now visit 22under22.com.au to cast their vote, before the final team is revealed on September 22.
Voting closes on Friday, September 18, 2020.
