A trio of Sydney Swans stars have been named in the AFL.com.au Team of the Week for their outstanding performance against Adelaide on Friday night.
Dame Rampe, Lance Franklin and Josh Kennedy have been acknowledged for their important roles in the thrilling win over the Crows.
Rampe kept Adelaide captain Taylor Walker to just one goal while gathering 16 disposals and five rebounds from 50 to go along with six one percenters.
Franklin was at his brilliant best with his three goals coming at crucial moments in Friday night’s blockbuster.
He turned back the clock to boot one of the best goals of his career as he burned down the wing from half-back, recovered from an early fumble to out-sprint Daniel Talia and goal from 40m out on the boundary.
In his first match back after being sidelined with a hamstring injury Kennedy was at his predictable best.
His 31 disposals, five clearances and seven tackles led from the front in what was a hardened contest against the Adelaide midfield.
