The Sydney Swans Redback members got together on Wednesday night for the annual cocktail party at the SCG.
Over 218 Redbacks have joined for the 2015 season and those who were able to make the function at the Brewers Pavilion in the new northern grandstand made the most of the exclusive event.
On the night, Redback members met up with their sponsored player to talk about the season ahead, they mingled with fellow members and enjoyed a glass of wine and some gourmet food.
Swans chairman Andrew Pridham and co-captain Jarrad McVeigh spoke on stage about the importance of members to the club while Luke Parker, Sam Reid and Isaac Heeney entertained the crowd with a Q&A with host Brad Seymour.
Swans midfielder Luke Parker used the opportunity to address the Redback members at the function to thank them for their commitment and loyalty to the club.
“It’s outstanding to have such a great relationship with members,” Parker said at the function.
“It’s great to build those bonds and see them after the game whether you win or lose, you’re always there to support us.
“We all really appreciate what you guys put into this club, it’s so important for us and helps us do what we do out on the track.
“We really appreciate it, and we’re really excited to build some more relationships over the season.”
