Sydney Swans co-captain Dane Rampe and workhorse George Hewett will return to the side for Sunday’s AAMI Community Series match against GWS.
Rampe injured his hand in Sydney’s Round 8 win over Hawthorn last season and bravely played through four matches before being sidelined for the remainder of the year.
While Rampe has been training solidly across the pre-season he didn’t feature in last weekend’s scratch match, instead providing insights into Sydney’s young list from the commentary box.
Likewise Swans fans will be eager to welcome back consistent midfielder Hewett after a back injury ended his 2020 season in July.
The match will be an opportunity for fans to get a look at draftees Logan McDonald, Braeden Campbell and Errol Gulden, who have all been named to play.
Ruckman Tom Hickey is another fresh face in the side, while 2020 debutants Chad Warner, Matt Ling and Sam Wicks have been included in the extended 26-man team.
The match kicks off at Giants Stadium at 1:10pm.
Tickets are available to the general public via Ticketmaster or tune in through Fox Footy, Kayo or Triple M.
Sydney Swans 2021 access members will receive FREE ACCESS to watch the clash, however they are required to redeem a free ticket.

For the general public, tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for concession. Children aged under 15 are free but still require a $0 ticket to enter the venue.
