Luke Parker’s brilliant boundary line dribble goal has been nominated for the Round 11 Goal of the Year.

In torrential rain on the Gold Coast Parker had his full array of skills on display to finesse through one of the best goals this season.

What the star midfielder managed to do would be considered outstanding no matter the conditions but become even more phenomenal given the wet and wild weather.

Tucked away deep in the pocket Parker was able to dribble the ball back with precision.

Parker’s competition for this week’s nomination is North Melbourne’s Shaun Atley and Greater Western Sydney veteran Steve Johnson.

To vote for Parker’s goal, head to the AFL’s Mark of the Year website. By voting you’ll go in the draw for the weekly cash prize of $200 and the major cash prize of $5000 at the end of the season.

Voting closes Thursday, 11.59pm, so get moving! Visit: https://goaloftheyear.afl.com.au/vote/round/11
