Collingwood utility Tyson Goldsack has been ruled out of this Saturday night's clash with the Sydney Swans at ANZ Stadium after suffering an ankle injury last weekend, collingwoodfc.com.au has reported.
Goldsack was subbed out of last Saturday night's Magpie win over St Kilda following a collision with the Saints' Jarryn Geary.
Collingwood Director of Football Geoff Walsh confirmed that Goldsack would be unavailable for the trip to Sydney, but said Chris Tarrant, who was a late withdrawal from the St Kilda match with back spasms, would be in the mix for selection.
"Chris is in the frame for this week. He had a little bit of tightness, a minor thing, that he will hopefully prove he is over this week," Walsh said.
Simon Buckley, who missed last weekend with a hamstring complaint, Darren Jolly and Ben Reid, who both suffered heavy knocks on the weekend, are all expected to be available for selection.
