The Sydney Swans head north to Metricon Stadium to take on the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday afternoon.

Ahead of the Round 6 match, Head of Physiotherapy and Medical Services Damian Raper provides the latest on the injury front.

Lance Franklin

“Pretty significant collision for Lance during the third quarter of Saturday’s game, he sustained a knock to the outside of his lower leg. Unfortunately he had some bone bruising to that anterior aspect of his shin so he’s going to miss the next three to four weeks unfortunately.”

Tom Hickey

“Tom had a very common injury for ruckman unfortunately, it was a PCL injury. These typically take about six to eight weeks to return to play.

Isaac Heeney

“Isaac is coming along well from his hand fracture. We’re hoping he’ll be back in one to two weeks.”

Dane Rampe

“Dane’s surgery went well, we’re expecting him to return in another two to three weeks.”
