Sydney Swans star Adam Goodes has spoken to Swans TV for the first time – but hopefully not the last – since retiring from AFL football.
In an extended interview, to be published in three parts on sydneyswans.com.au over the next few days, the 364-game champion covers everything from draft day to his incredible achievements to what’s in store beyond 2015.
In part one, the 35-year-old spoke candidly about the lessons learned during the early years, what moulded him into the player Swans supporters adored and how much the two-time premiership player is looking forward to spending more time with family, friends and former teammates in retirement.
Don’t miss part two on Friday when Goodes talks about his final season in red and white, the personal challenges faced and when the moment came for one of the Swans’ greats called time after 18 wonderful seasons.
